Triston McKenzie didn't have the return for which he had hoped and the Guardians lost 5-1 to the Baltimore Orioles Sunday afternoon at Progressive Field.

Returning from a UCL sprain, McKenzie threw 52 pitches and struggled with his command, allowing just one hit but walking six. He allowed three runs in 1⅔ innings before exiting the game.

McKenzie's velocity was also down, as he averaged 91.7 mph with his fastball, down 1.2 mph from his yearly average entering Sunday.
