What Titans’ Dillon Radunz said in first Zoom presser

The Tennessee Titans have found their right tackle of the future after selecting North Dakota State product and offensive tackle, Dillon Radunz, in the second round of the 2021 NFL draft.

The Titans had a long-term need on the right side after the massive swing and miss on 2020 first-round pick, Isaiah Wilson, but Radunz could also fill the immediate void left by the release of Dennis Kelly.

Radunz will have an opportunity to compete for the starting job in training camp, but will have to do battle with fellow tackles Ty Sambrailo and Kendall Lamm to win it.

As far as fit goes, Radunz matches up nicely with what the Titans want to do.

While he played at left tackle in college, Radunz figures to have no issue transitioning to the right side, and there are some experts who believe he could play at guard, also.

At 6-foot-6 and 305 pounds, Radunz is an excellent run-blocker with a nasty disposition. He didn’t allow a single sack in 2019 or 2020 while protecting the blind side of 2021 No. 3 overall pick, quarterback Trey Lance (NDSU only played one game in 2020, but still).

Radunz was also a standout at the Senior Bowl, where he was named “Overall Practice Player of the Week.”

Shortly after being selected by the Titans, Radunz held his first Zoom presser with the media. Here’s a look at what he had to say:
