Tigers-Mariners game rained out
Friday's contest between the host Detroit Tigers and Seattle Mariners at Comerica Park has been postponed following a roughly 40-minute rain delay from the scheduled start time.
The game will be made up as part of a straight doubleheader on Saturday, with the first game beginning at 4:10 p.m. ET and the second game starting approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 1.
Marco Gonzales and Matthew Boyd, Friday's starters, are listed as the probable pitchers for Saturday's Game 1.
The postponement is the seventh for the Tigers at home this season. The team has already played three doubleheaders.
