Cerro Gordo/Bement 46, Okaw Valley 35. Cerro Gordo/Bement ran its winning streak to five and stayed unbeaten in LPC action with Thursday's home win against Okaw Valley. Haylei Simpson led the Broncos (7-2) with 18 points, and Caroline Hill joined her in double figures with 10 points.

Clinton 64, Shelbyville 44. Clinton got back on track offensively after a rough outing at Peoria Heights on Monday with a season-high scoring effort to knock off Shelbyville in Thursday's Central Illinois Conference showdown. Carly Anderson made five three-pointers and put up a game-high 19 points for the Maroons (4-5), while Regan Filkin and Heidi Humble hit three threes apiece and each scored 13 points.

Cumberland 64, Blue Ridge 19. A scoreless first quarter put Blue Ridge in an early hole, and the Knights couldn't recover in Thursday's LPC road loss at Cumberland. Phoebe Reynolds scored eight points to pace Blue Ridge (2-6).

Decatur St. Teresa 55, Unity 39. Reagan Little put up 17 points and six rebounds and Raegen Stringer added 12 points, but Unity (6-4) couldn't keep up with St. Teresa in Thursday's nonconference road loss.

Iroquois West 34, Chrisman 17. Iroquois West put the clamps on defensively in Thursday's Vermilion Valley Conference win, holding Chrisman to single-digit scoring in all four quarters and ultimately doubling up the Cardinals. Kenzie Tammen scored eight of her game-high 10 points in the first quarter for the Raiders (4-5), and Jessye Rodriguez knocked down three three-pointers and chipped in nine points in the win. Taylor Jones led Chrisman (2-6) with five points.

Reese Gallier matched Waldinger's effort from three-point range and chipped in 13 points, while six other M-S players scored in the win.

Normal U-High 48, Prairie Central 27. Prairie Central had the early lead in Thursday's nonconference matchup at U-High, but the Hawks couldn't maintain their momentum and dropped the road game by double digits. Jayla Hammond paced Prairie Central (1-9) with eight points.

Oakwood 44, Armstrong-Potomac 31. Free throws decided Thursday night's VVC showdown in Fithian, with Oakwood making 11 of 16 shots at the line in the fourth quarter to turn a seven-point advantage after three quarters into a double-digit victory against Armstrong-Potomac. Kenzie Wesson scored 13 points to lead Ridgeview (4-6), and Presleigh Beck added 12 points in the win.

Salt Fork 60, Hoopeston Area 28. Four players in double figures and a smothering defense that gave up no more than nine points in a single quarter helped Salt Fork cruise to Thursday's home win against VVC rivals Hoopeston Area. Alexa Jamison paced the Storm (5-3) with 16 points and was critical in Salt Fork jumping out to an early double-digit lead. Macie Russell chipped in 12 points, Taylor Remole had 11 and Bracie Hird finished with 10 to round out the Storm's balanced scoring. Tuscola 66, Rantoul 24. Tuscola took a commanding lead after one quarter, boosted it even higher at halftime and rolled over Rantoul on Thursday night in nonconference action.
