Texas midfielder Lexi Missimo has entered the UT record books for the second time this season.

After becoming the program’s new leader in career assists earlier this season, Missimo broke the single season assists and points record. Now? She's broken the single season goal record after collecting her 18th and 19th along with two assists in a 6-1 win over Houston.

Missimo broke the program record for assists in 2022 with 15 despite missing six games due to injury. She broke it again this year and currently has 18 on the season. With 47 total assists in her career, she is five away from passing the Big 12 assist leader Nikki Wojtowicz (Oklahoma State, 2001-04) for the league’s all-time top spot.

The Longhorns are currently 11-4-2 with a 5-3-1 record in conference. Their next game comes on Monday, ,Oct. 23 at 7 p.m. against No. 21 TCU at home, while the Big 12 Championships begin on Saturday, Oct. 28.
