Texans trading for Bears WR Anthony Miller

The Houston Texans are adding another weapon to their passing game.

According to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, the Texans are trading with the Chicago Bears for former 2018 second-round pick Anthony Miller.

Miller was entering the final year of his rookie deal. Going to Houston gets Miller going on a new start that may have been inevitable anyway after the conclusion of the 2021 season.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Texans and Bears swapped late-round picks.

Houston’s receiving corps is crowded with Brandin Cooks, Randall Cobb, third-round rookie Nico Collins, Chris Conley, Chris Moore, Donte Moncrief, Keke Coutee, Alex Erickson, Tawan Taylor, and Isaiah Coulter.

Miller caught 134 passes for 1,564 yards and 11 touchdowns in his 47 career games with the Bears, 17 of which he started.
