Texans-Chiefs Tuesday injury report: WR Brandin Cooks did not participate

The Houston Texans released their second injury report of the week as they prepare for their Week 1 encounter with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Receiver Brandin Cooks, who was a limited participant in Monday’s practice with a quad issue, did not participate in practice on Tuesday.

Defensive end J.J. Watt similarly was not a participant in Tuesday’s practice, although the reason was listed as “not injury related.”

Fullback Cullen Gillaspia (hamstring) and outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard (ankle) were still listed as limited participants in practice.

Cornerback Lonnie Johnson (hip) and cornerback Phillip Gaines (hamstring) were full participants in practice.
