Tess Darby named to SEC All-Community Service Team
Lady Vols’ junior basketball player Tess Darby has been named to the SEC Women’s Basketball All-Community Service Team.
Darby, a native of Greenfield, Tennessee, is a graduate of Tennessee Athletics’ VOLeaders Academy.
She embarked on a leadership and service trip to Rwanda and participated in Together in Sport, helping to promote healthy habits and sport to local children, as well as helping run a women’s empowerment teaching teenage girls how to sew as a means for steady income.
She also participated in Hoops for Hope with the Vols and Lady Vols. The event held annually at Farragut High School in Farragut, Tennessee, where UT student-athletes play basketball with developmentally challenged children and adults.
