Teams & names to watch approaching MLB’s trade deadline

Yahoo Sports national MLB insider Russell Dorsey takes a look at the franchises who are most likely to make a move by the July 30 deadline - and which players could be a part of those deals.

It's never too early to start talking about the trade deadline.

And this year, there are a couple of teams that could make the deadline interesting, Toronto Blue Jays and the Saint Louis Cardinals are usually going all in this year.

They should probably consider going into a rebuild mode with players like Vladimir GRE Junior, Boba, Shet Nolan Arenado and Paul Goldschmidt.

Both teams have players that could be moved, but the most interesting player at this year's deadline might be Oakland A's rookie closer.

Mason Miller.

Miller has been the most dominant closer in all major league baseball this season.

But if you get the right haul could, the A's look to move their rookie closer.

Now, the A's have all the leverage in the world and don't have to move Miller.

But if they get the right phone call for the right haul, it might be worth moving Miller and expediting your rebuild.
