Taylor Swift at Super Bowl 2024: Pop megastar makes it to Las Vegas to watch boyfriend Travis Kelce, Chiefs beat 49ers

Taylor Swift pulled it off.

The global pop star successfully made the trek from Japan to Las Vegas in time to watch boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday.

She was seen entering Allegiant Stadium a few hours ahead of the game alongside her mother, actor Blake Lively, rapper Ice Spice and designer Ashley Avignone, among others.

Swift was spotted wearing a No. 87 necklace in honor of Kelce's number.

Swift was later seen hugging Kelce's brother, Jason, in a suite at the stadium.

Swift met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell ahead of the game in a suite, too.

Swift and Lively were shown on the CBS broadcast during the pregame festivities when Post Malone sang, "America The Beautiful."

“DoodleBob” popped in to say hi to Swift on the alternate Nickelodeon stream early in the first quarter. The broadcast also correctly identified Kelce the first chance it got.

Allegiant Stadium showed Swift chugging and then slamming her beer on the stadium screens in the second quarter.

Swift of course celebrated with the rest of the box after the Chiefs' first touchdown of the game in the third quarter, which put them up 13-10.

Swift was sweating it out with the rest of the stadium late in the fourth quarter.

Naturally, after the Chiefs pulled out the overtime win, Swift and her crew erupted in the suite.

Swift made it down onto the field with Donna Kelce and Jackson Mahomes to celebrate after the win.

She eventually found Kelce to celebrate the moment with him in what was a very emotional scene.

Taylor Swift's trek from Tokyo to Las Vegas

Swift played four shows in Tokyo earlier this week as part of the international leg of her The Eras Tour. She left Japan right after her final show Saturday night and flew to Los Angeles, a journey that takes about 12 hours. She crossed the international date line and nine time zones and made it to Las Vegas on Sunday with plenty of time to spare. Las Vegas is 17 hours behind Japan, which is what made the 5,700-mile journey possible in such a tight time frame.

Fans spotted a private jet they believed Swift was on and actually cheered when it landed at LAX in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon.

It’s unclear if she flew the final leg to Las Vegas or if she drove the rest of the way. There are about 475 private jet parking spaces across the four airports in the Las Vegas area, though the FAA said earlier this month that they were full this weekend for the game. Either way, she made it successfully.

Swift has missed very few games since she made her first appearance at a Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium in October, when speculation about her relationship with Kelce began. She has been spotted hanging out with Kelce’s mother, Donna, in suites and alongside a shirtless Jason Kelce at the AFC championship game. The Super Bowl marks her 13th Chiefs game this season.

Swift is expected to fly to Australia in the near future to resume her tour. She has three shows in Melbourne starting Friday before playing four shows in Sydney later in the month.
