Still Bijan: Social media reacts to Texas’ statement win over Kansas

It’s been a huge week for Texas Longhorns athletics. Usually that’s indicative of football success in November, but the basketball team has received much of the shine this week.

For the fourth time in school history, the Texas basketball team earned a win over a No. 2 team in the AP poll. Not to be outdone, Sarkisian’s squad mopped the field with Kansas to end the week.

Despite the return of once Heisman hopeful quarterback Jalon Daniels, the Jayhawks offense was missing in action on Saturday. A 14-yard touchdown pass from Daniels to Torry Locklin gave Kansas its first points of the game with 1:55 remaining in the third quarter.

Bijan Robinson was the story for Texas. The generational player rushed for 243 yards and four touchdowns on 25 carries.

Let’s look at what Twitter users took away from Texas’ burial of Kansas.
