The Pittsburgh Steelers knew they had their work cut out for them going against the Buffalo Bills but things have gone even worse than anyone could have imagined going into halftime the Steelers trail the Bills 31-3. Here are our halftime takeaways.

Stop blaming the offensive line

There’s no doubt the Steelers offensive line isn’t great. But that does not absolve running back Najee Harris from responsibility for his lack of production. Harris still doesn’t see the field well enough and stops his momentum far too often.

Pickett to Pickens is a beautiful thing

The Steelers aren’t going to win this game but the chemistry between Kenny Pickett and George Pickens gives hope for the future. Pickens has four catches on four targets for 63 yards.

Pittsburgh has done nothing to put Bills quarterback Josh Allen under any sort of duress in the first half. This has allowed Allen to absolutely pick apart the Steelers secondary with over 300 yards passing in the first half.
