Steelers could right the wrong of the 2019 NFL draft with 1 trade

In 2019, the Pittsburgh Steelers traded up to draft former Michigan State linebacker Devin Bush in the first round at No. 10. Five picks before him, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers drafted former LSU linebacker Devin White. From the moment it happened, the two’s careers were intertwined and many felt like from the jump, the Steelers got the wrong Devin.

Now it is 2023 and Bush is no longer with the Steelers after a disappointing start to his career and White is a young star in the league who might be looking for a change of scenery.

The Steelers need an athletic inside linebacker and despite adding Cole Holcomb and Elandon Roberts, there is always room for a player the caliber of White.

White has topped 120 tackles in each of the last three seasons as well as 18 sacks and 12 passes defended. How much would White cost? It’s hard to say but if the Steelers could get him for the No. 49 overall pick, would that be value? Let us know in the comments below.
