Steady, consistent, and unspectacular. You always know what you are going to get even if it isn’t perfect.

You never know what you are going to get. Sometimes it just boring right out of the box and sometimes it is homemade and spectacular.

Double smoked, brown sugar glazed and spiral cut. It’s the showstopper of the meal and the one thing that gets you excited every time.

Looks great in the pan and then you spoon it up and someone made it with peas. So you throw it in the trash and never invite them back.

Every year you wonder why they keep bringing it out and putting it on the table.

Looks so good just sitting there in the pan but sometimes you cut into it and it’s just dry.

An absolute guilty pleasure, you always have too much of them and the food everyone fights for the last one.

Candied yams - CB Joey Porter Jr.

Not always right up front on the table but once you get them on your plate you wonder why you don’t make them more often.

Cranberry sauce - OT Dan Moore Jr.

Pumpkin pie - K Chris Boswell

Good every time and no matter how full you are, there’s always room for some pumpkin pie.

Dinner rolls - DT Cam Heyward

Like Heyward, those hot fresh dinner rolls with butter are always satisfying and you just can’t seem to get enough of them.
