Starling Marte and Luis Severino comment on Mets second straight loss to Giants

Starling Marte was one of the few bright spots for the Mets on Tuesday night, going 3-4 with a double against Giants ace Logan Webb. The rest of the lineup was held in check by Webb who Marte credited with having an effective repertoire of pitches with a lot of movement. Mets starter Luis Severino pitched six strong innings but felt he was victimized by some soft contact and seeing-eye hits in the Giants three-run fifth.
