South Carolina women's basketball live score updates vs Missouri: Gamecocks, Dawn Staley vs Tigers

South Carolina women's basketball will be missing one of its best players when it faces Missouri on Thursday (7 p.m., SEC Network) at Colonial Life Arena in a rematch of the Gamecocks' 81-57 win earlier this season.

The No. 1 Gamecocks (21-0, 9-0 SEC) will be without leading scorer Kamilla Cardoso. The senior center is taking a two-game leave to join the Brazil national team for an Olympic qualifying tournament. Cardoso's 13.8 points per game, 9.8 rebounds per game and 60 blocks are all team bests.

In South Carolina's win at Missouri (11-11, 2-7) on Jan. 11, the Gamecocks didn't need much from Cardoso, who scored seven points with eight rebounds. Junior guard Bree Hall set a career-high with 21 points while forwards Sania Feagin and Ashlyn Watkins each added 10 points.

Missouri will have senior guard Mama Dembele back in the lineup after she missed the season's first game against South Carolina. Dembele averages 9.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, and her 6.8 assists per game are fourth most in the nation.

The Tigers are also expected to play graduate student forward Hayley Frank, the team's leading scorer, after she missed Sunday's game against Tennessee with an injury. Frank scored 16 points against South Carolina the first time around.
