South Carolina football's O'Donnell Fortune has epic 100-yard pick-six vs. Notre Dame

South Carolina defensive back O'Donnell Fortune made history at the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl on Friday.

Fortune picked off a pass from Notre Dame quarterback Tyler Buchner and returned it 100 yards to tie the game at 38-38 in Jacksonville, Florida . The pick-six was the longest return in Gator Bowl history, breaking the previous record of 99 from 1946.

The interception touchdown tied the game with under eight minutes remaining in the matchup. On the following possession, Notre Dame scored a touchdown to make it 45-38.
