South Carolina baseball live score updates vs LSU in SEC Tournament winner's bracket

Almost 20 years later to the day, South Carolina baseball is in familiar territory.

After defeating No. 2 seed Arkansas on Wednesday, the No. 10 seed Gamecocks advanced to the winner's bracket in the SEC Tournament for the first time since 2004, the same year the Gamecocks won their only SEC Tournament.

The Gamecocks (35-21) defeated the Razorbacks (43-13) 6-5, one day after beating No. 7 seed Alabama 10-5.

On Thursday, the Gamecocks face No. 11 seed LSU in the winner's bracket (5:30 p.m. ET, SEC Network) at Hoover Metropolitan Complex.

The Tigers (38-20) are coming off an 11-0 win over No. 3 seed Kentucky on Wednesday morning. South Carolina didn't play LSU in the regular season but went 1-1 in 2023 before losing again to the NCAA champion Tigers 10-3 in the SEC Tournament last year.
