Sources: Forward Vince Carter to sign one-year deal with Hawks

Free agent forward Vince Carter will sign a one-year, $2.4 million deal with the Atlanta Hawks, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Carter, 41, is the oldest active player in the NBA and will serve as a veteran leader for the Hawks. An eight-time All-Star, Carter played for the Sacramento Kings a season ago, averaging 5.4 points and 2.6 rebounds while shooting 34.5 percent from 3-point range.
