Social media reacts: Clemson Men’s Soccer advances to the National Championship
Mike Noonan and the Clemson men’s soccer team have had a phenomenal season and it’s not over yet.
The Tigers advances to the National Championship Friday as they defeated West Virginia 1-0 in a shutout victory, sealing their spot in the big one. Clemson (14-3-5) will advance to play in their sixth National Championship match in school history, the most recent a 2-0 victory over Washington in 2021. Clemson has claimed three titles in its history, including the 1984 and 1987 championships, and has appeared in three title games since 2015.

Clemson men's soccer has not lost since Sept. Notre Dame has lost just once since September. That one ND loss was to Louisville in ACC tournament. Ironically ND will be trying to win National title at Louisville Monday night.
