Smyrna's Anna Richardson leads All-State girls volleyball team. See who else made the list

Smyrna's Anna Richardson is the Player of the Year and leads the girls volleyball All-State team selected by the Delaware High School Volleyball Coaches Association.

The senior led Smyrna to its first state championship, recording more than 300 kills in a 19-1 season. Richardson had 20 kills in the Eagles' 3-1 state championship win over Ursuline. She is one of three Smyrna players selected to the All-State teams, joined by seniors Eliza Schneider and Elise Carter.

Tower Hill and Saint Mark's also placed three players on the All-State teams.

Richardson, Delmarva Christian junior Elaina Millaway and Saint Mark's senior Taylor Holly repeated as first-team All-State selections. Holly is the only member of the class of 2024 to be selected to an All-State team three times.

First-year Caesar Rodney head coach Jake Bluhm was named Coach of the Year. Bluhm led the Riders to a 15-3 season and an appearance in the state tournament semifinals.

Delmarva Christian won the Sportsmanship Award and Padua's Allison Lang and Delaware Military's Maya Hill won the Jennifer Mayer Humanitarian and Service Award.
