Sixers rookie Paul Reed to join Blue Coats in G League bubble in Orlando

It is almost time for the G League to begin the 2020-21 season after their year got delayed due to the global coronavirus pandemic. They are set to head down to Orlando and play the season in the bubble as the NBA did to finish the 2019-20 season.

The Delaware Blue Coats, the G League affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers, will be heading down to Orlando on Wednesday and they will be bringing one of the big team’s rookies with them.

Paul Reed, who was the 58th overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft, will be joining the Blue Coats in Orlando. He has played in five games with the Sixers and he has averaged 3.6 points and 2.0 rebounds. His best game came against the Denver Nuggets when they played only seven players and he had six points and seven rebounds in that game.

The Sixers will be looking to bounce back from a bad loss on Monday and they will take on the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday at home.
