Reba McEntire performs Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023, during the grand opening of Reba's Place in Atoka.

The Super Bowl is nearly here, which means eyes will not only point to the game between Kansas City and San Francisco for the NFL championship, but also the entertainment surrounding it.

Oklahoman residents will also have a vested interest in watching, as a native Oklahoman will participate in it.

Reba McEntire — who was born in McAlester and grew up in nearby Chockie — is one of the most famed country artists ever. She will sing the national anthem Super Bowl 58 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, where she will be joined pregame by Post Malone — who's signing "America the Beautiful" — and Andra Day, who's performing "Lift Every Voice and Sing."
