Series recap: The Jumbo Shrimp won their second consecutive series, taking four of six from the Memphis Redbirds in Tennessee. With that result, they enter the week in third place in the International League East, a game and a half behind the first-place RailRiders.

Highlight: Down two runs in the eighth inning on Sunday, the Jumbo Shrimp struck back for the series win. Tristan Gray's sacrifice fly proved to be the game-winning run.

Crustacean sensation: Optioned to the Jumbo Shrimp on Wednesday, catcher Jhonny Pereda is batting effectively for Jacksonville with a .343/.439/.514 line. The 28-year-old, originally from Venezuela, whacked his first home run of the season on Sunday to go with three doubles.

On deck: Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Yankees, has the league's top run differential so far (plus-36) and several prospects likely to find their way into pinstripes in the American League. Outfielder Everson Pereira is off to a .253/.333/.571 start with seven home runs in the first month, and right-handed pitcher Will Warren brings a nasty slider that could make him an eventual big league starter.

Ballpark fun: Malmo Oat Milkers Night arrives Wednesday, with ceremonial jerseys as part of a minor league-wide promotion from Swedish oat milk company Oatly. Also on the menu: the Waffle Hut Waitress Games on Thursday, Margaritaville Day (complete with a bucket hat giveaway) on Saturday and Princess Day on Sunday.

Probable pitchers Tuesday: To be determined.
