Shore baseball Class of 2024 seniors: 185 players in our rankings, All-Shore Watch List

With the Shore Conference Tournament underway and the NJSIAA playoffs to follow near the end of the month, it is time to look at this season's Shore Conference baseball top senior players.

Here is our top 20 ranking of the senior players followed by others on our All-Shore Watch List.

1. Chris Levonas, 2024, P, Throws Right, Christian Brothers Academy.

The Skinny: Levonas has signed with Wake Forest University and is a potential high selection in Major League Baseball’s First-Year Player Draft on July 14. He has been overpowering in his four outings.

2. Ryan Costello, 2024, 1B/P, Bats Left, Throws Left, Ranney

The Skinny: Costello has 14 homers and is two away from breaking the Shore Conference single-season record of 15 set by Middletown South’s Joe Stanzione in 2022. He has signed with LSU.

3. Sean Griggs, 2024, 3B, Bats Left, Throws Right, Red Bank Catholic

The Skinny: Griggs has signed with the University of Alabama and has been a four-year starter.

4. Jake Marciano, 2024, P, Throws Left, Donovan Catholic

The Skinny: Marciano has signed with Virginia Tech and has recorded 16 strikeouts in a game twice over the last two seasons. He also was the winning pitcher in the Griffins' win over two-time defending NJSIAA Non Public A champion Don Bosco Prep.

5. Brandon Falco, 2024, P/1B, Throws Right, Bats Right, Matawan

The Skinny: Falco, who has signed with NJIT,  has not allowed a run in 15 innings and has struck out 30. He is currently sidelined with an injury.

6. Jake Howlett, 2024, C, Bats Right, Throws Right, Wall

The Skinny: Howlett has signed with Monmouth University. He was an APP First Team All-Shore selection last season.

7. Brady Lesiak, 2024, P/3B, Bats Right, Throws Right, Southern

Southern's Brady Lesiak has signed with Binghamton.

The Skinny: Lesiak has been a contributor for the Rams the last two seasons both at the plate and on the mound. He has signed with Binghamton.

8. Declan Leary, 2024, P, Throws Right, Red Bank Catholic

The Skinny: A United States Naval Academy recruit, Leary is a noted big-game pitcher.

9. Mason Christopher, 2024, P, Throws Left, Middletown South

The Skinny: Christopher, a Seton Hall University recruit, has allowed two runs or less in four of his five starts.

10. Andrew Gendi, 2024, P/3B, Bats Right, Throws Right, Matawan

Matawan's Andrew Gendi has been a force both on the mound and at the plate.

The Skinny: Gendi, with Falco in and out of the rotation, has become the Huskies’ ace and one of the dominant pitchers in the Shore. He is a Felician College recruit.

11. Nick Garbooshian, 2024, P/1B, Bats Left, Throws Right, Brick Memorial

The Skinny:: Garbooshian has been one of the Shore's most consistent pitchers and is also a significant contributor at the plate. He has made a commitment to Drew University.

12. Nicco Maribo, 2024, CF, Bats Right, Throws Right, Brick Memorial

The Skinny: Maribo has been a force on offense the last two seasons. He is hitting well over. 400.

13. Bryson Kirby, 2024, P/OF/DH, Bats Right, Throws Right, Point Pleasant Borough

The Skinny: Kirby, a Monmouth University recruit, has been a key contributor for the Class B South co-champion Panthers both on the mound and at the plate. He is on the verge of becoming Point Borough's all-time strikeout leader.

14. Roger Dreher, 2024, P, Throws Right, Southern

The Skinny: Dreher, a South Carolina-Upstate recruit, has almost two strikeouts an inning.

15. Matt Brunner, 2024, CF, Bats Right, Throws Right, Red Bank Catholic

The Skinny: Brunner has moved up to the No. 2 spot in the Caseys' batting order after hitting in the bottom part of the order in 2023.

16. Joe Maier, 2024, SS, Bats Right, Throws, Right, Donovan Catholic

The Skinny: Maier, a Felician College recruit, is solid both defensively and at the plate.

17. Dylan Shaffer, 2024, P, Throws Right, Manalapan

The Skinny: Shaffer, a University of Maine recruit, is averaging about 1.5 strikeouts an inning.

18. Brevin Bezick, 2024, P/DH., Bats Left, Throws Left, Middletown South

The Skinny: Bezick has been a key contributor all season both at the plate and on the mound for a Middletown South that is second in Shore

19. Paul Santos, 2024, CF, Bats Right, Throws Right, Marlboro

The Skinny: Santos has made a non-binding oral commitment to St. Peter's and is Marlboro's leadoff batter.

20. Cristian Soto, 2024, C, Bats Right, Throws Right, Central

The Skinny: Soto has been a starter for four seasons. He is a Lafayette College recruit.
