Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers are engaged, days after romance was revealed
Well, here's a surprise: days after fans found out Shailene Woodley, 29, and NFL player Aaron Rodgers, 37, are dating, he has revealed they're actually engaged.
An E! News report dropped this week that claimed Shailene and Aaron were dating but that their romance was "private and low key." So far, so normal.
But fast forward to Aaron giving a speech at last night's Super Bowl championship [7 February], and the sportsman gave reference to having a fiancée (!!) which many are assuming is the Big Little Lies actress. Zero to 100 real quick!
The 37-year-old was accepting the 2020 AP Most Valuable Player Award, thanking his team, the Green Bay Packers, and his fiancée in the process. "2020 was definitely a crazy year... I got engaged and I played some of the best football in my career," he said.
"So I’d like to thank, first and foremost, my teammates for their support, their inspiration, protection, incredible play on the field…off the field I’ve got a great group of people that support me, so I’d like to thank my team [and] my fiancée."
Aaron didn't name Shailene, but considering the romance rumours came to light the same week, it feels unlikely he could be talking about anyone else.
It's not clear how long the pair have been dating (or even how long the've been engaged), but a source told Us Weekly in February 2021: "Aaron and Shailene are dating! They started off as friends, but things have turned romantic.

"The two are staying in contact while they are living away from each other. The relationship is long-distance for right now, but they are making it work."
