Seth Curry stats: Sixers guard lighting it up 3 games into the season

Throughout the grind of an 82-game season, shooters will have their ups and downs. No matter how good of a shooter anybody is, there will be an inevitable slump that they will go through.

Philadelphia 76ers guard Seth Curry is off to one of the hottest starts anybody will ever see in this league.

After going off for 28 points, including 23 in the first quarter alone, in Sunday’s win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, Curry is shooting a ridiculous 13-for-17 from deep through the first three games of the season. He is also shooting 22-for-32 from the field overall as there seems to be no way to stop the veteran guard out of Duke who is averaging 20.3 points per game as well.

For the Sixers, this is a perfect start for them and what they expect out of Curry. They need him to space the floor and properly give Joel Embiid the space to operate on the offensive end of the floor. His shooting start has been paramount to their 2-1 start and he will have to continue to knock down open looks for Philadelphia to move forward.
