The Times-Delta/Advance-Register will recognize Tulare County's top high school sports performers on a weekly basis this school year.

Coaches, please submit your results/top performers after each game, match or meet to sports reporter Vongni Yang at vyang2@gannett.com to have players highlighted.

Thursday, Aug. 24

Volleyball

Audrey Hyde, Redwood: Hyde delivered two blocks, 18 digs, 23 kills and 26 assists as the undefeated Rangers (2-0) outlasted Clovis East 22-25, 19-25, 25-19, 27-25, 15-7 in a non-league match.

Kennedy Cutler, Redwood: Cutler had an ace, 13 digs and 17 kills.

Devyn Castaneda, Redwood: She chipped in an ace, 32 digs and four assists.

Ashlyn Guenter, Redwood: Guenter added two blocks, six digs and nine kills.

Taylor McElree, Redwood: McElree registered an ace, four blocks, three digs and an assist.

Abigail Camarillo, Redwood: Camarillo had an ace, 15 digs and an assist.

Hazel Green, Redwood: Green finished with three digs and 11 assists.

Payton Short, Redwood: Short generated two digs and 10 assists.

Alexis Rico, Redwood: Rico recorded three blocks, two digs, two kills and an assist.

Ava Ferguson, Redwood: Ferguson had a block, a dig and four kills.

Grace Alipaz, Redwood: Alipaz added four kills.

Aurora Sotelo, Mission Oak: Sotelo fired two aces, 13 kills and had 14 digs in a 25-14, 25-18, 25-14 victory against Farmersville.

Emma Osborne, Mission Oak: Osborne had nine digs.

Rebekah Beasley, Mission Oak: Beasley finished with an ace, three kills, a block, two assists and 13 digs.

Olivia Nunes, Mission Oak: Nunes registered five kills, a block and a dig.

Kilee Faria, Mission Oak: Faria had seven digs.

Ruby Martinez, Mission Oak: Martinez recorded four aces, two blocks, 21 assists and five digs.

London Jones, Mission Oak: Jones had five kills, a pair of blocks and four digs.

Avery Barber, Exeter: Barber had 17 assists, four digs, two blocks and two aces in a 3-1 loss to Clovis North.

Maddie Gonzalez, Exeter: Gonzalez added seven kills, six digs, two blocks and an ace.

Haven Rich, Exeter: Rich tallied six kills, five digs and an ace.

Jayla Iversen, Exeter: Iversen had four kills, five digs and an ace.

Cascade Norton, Exeter: Norton finished with three kills and six blocks.

Tuesday, Aug. 22

Volleyball

Kennedy Cutler, Redwood: Cutler delivered three aces, 10 digs and 20 kills to lead the Rangers to a 33-31, 32-34, 29-27, 25-17 non-league win over Frontier-Bakersfield.

Audrey Hyde, Redwood: Hyde registered two aces, eight blocks, a pair of digs, 10 kills and 24 assists.

Devyn Castaneda, Redwood: Castaneda added 23 digs and six assists.

Taylor McElree, Redwood: McElree had an ace, eight blocks, a dig and two kills.

Hazel Green, Redwood: Green recorded 11 digs and 11 assists.

Kailee Gilbert, Tulare Union: Gilbert finished with four kills, an ace and an assisted block.

Sophia Cardoza, Tulare Union: Cardoza had three solo blocks and three kills.

llarely Rosales, Tulare Union: Rosales tallied nine digs, five kills and an assist.

Gabby Rodriguez, Tulare Union: Rodriguez had eight digs and two aces.

Avery Starr, Tulare Western: Starr led the Mustangs with 14 kills, seven digs and three aces in a 25-22, 25-12, 25-21 win over Mt. Whitney.

Faith Powell, Tulare Western: Powell added 15 digs and 19 assists.

Adison Lee, Tulare Western: Lee had 12 digs.
