See Ole Miss football unofficial mascot Juice Kiffin collect the kickoff tee vs Mercer

OXFORD — The Ole Miss football players in pads weren't the only ones working on their games over the offseason.

The Rebels in paws have added new skills, too.

Juice Kiffin, Ole Miss' unofficial four-legged mascot, has evidently been training to retrieve kickoff tees.

Juice made his on-field debut to begin the second half of the Rebels' opening game against Mercer on Saturday.

On top of being Kiffin's family pet, Juice has also become a powerful branding tool for the program. He has more than 47,000 followers on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, and appears on recruiting graphics. One of Ole Miss' key recruiting events of the year is known as "Juice Fest."

If his on-field performance is going to match his brand-building skills, he might find himself landing lucrative NIL deals before long.

Can he take his payment in treats?
