See Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher exchange handshake before Alabama-Texas A&M

If you didn't know any better, Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher looked like two head college football coaches chatting before a game with no ill will or negative history between one another.

Saban and Fisher exchanged a handshake and struck a conversation at midfield at Bryant-Denny Stadium before Alabama football's game against Texas A&M on Saturday.

Of course, the offseason ugliness from Fisher and scrutiny of the Aggies' recruiting tactics from Saban exists. It took ahold of the sport for a week in May.

Saban called out Texas A&M for buying players in its top-ranked 2022 recruiting class. Fisher called Saban a narcissist in a emotionally-charged press conference. Those words were said. SEC commissioner Greg Sankey issued reprimands to both coaches. That also happened.

But for a couple minutes Saturday, Saban and Fisher looked like two coaches awkwardly talking before a game as head coaches do. That moment happened 100 times on Saturday at football fields and stadiums across the country. But few had the recent history of the war of words between the two.
