Saturday's scores

South Fork's girls cross country team took second place at the Joaquin Garcia XC Invitational in Boca Raton led by senior Addison Boyer's third place finish with her time of 18:44.

Sophomore Emerson Brinn was seventh running 19:30 and freshman Emma Ensor took 20th running a time of 20:45 for the Bulldogs.

In the boys' race, Martin County sophomore Robbie Ziskinder ran 17:04 to take ninth place and South Fork senior Maxum Kornilov was ninth running 17:13.

Friday's scores

Treasure Coast junior Kaitlynn Moore cracked the 20-minute mark at Friday's Centennial XC Invitational, running 19:44 to win the girls' race.

St. Edward's senior Carrington Brown took second, running 21:10, Sebastian River senior Savannah Sadley ran 21:11 to take third, Lincoln Park Academy junior Jacey Lane was fourth in 21:11 and Sebastian River junior Daria Gibbs was fifth with a time of 21:28.

Pine School senior Amlie Galbraith (21:37) took sixth, Calvary Christian seventh grader Kazdyn Brown (22:23) was eighth and Centennial sophomore Hannah Lundgren (22:50) rounded out the top ten in tenth.

In the boys' race, Treasure Coast junior Yaiden Beausejour-Joseph led area runners with a time of 18:40 to take seventh.

Sebastian River senior Payton Dipietro was eighth running 18:43, Centennial senior Jeremy Durbin was ninth with a 18:45 and St. Edward's freshman John Curley rounded out the top ten in tenth.

South Fork d. Sebastian River 25-21, 25-19, 25-13: Ryan Connelly had 10 kills to lead the way for the Bulldogs (3-8). Cloe Follwell added six kills, Aubrey Scammell had five aces and four kills and Ava Bochenek chipped in four aces and five kills for South Fork.

John Carroll Catholic d. Melbourne Central Catholic 23-25, 26-24, 24-26, 25-21, 15-9: Kaylee Maikranz had a minster match with 19 kills, 20 digs and 10 service aces in a five-set win for the Rams (2-3). Angelina Madera collected 15 digs and Lila Theberge finished the match with 37 assists for John Carroll.

Okeechobee d. St. Edward’s 25-11, 25-19, 27-25: Meagan Baker had eight kills, Makena Rodriguez added 10 digs and four kills, Natalee Rogers collected seven digs and Elliotte Kahler had 16 assists in the loss for the Pirates (3-3).

Jensen Beach d. Treasure Coast 25-9, 25-23, 25-12: Raegan Richardson totaled 25 assists, five kills and had six service aces to become the program's record holder for career aces with 221. Jenna Simmons added 10 kills and five digs, Catherine Hamilton had eight kills and four aces, Samaya Hennessy added six kills and Sophia Martin had five kills and four blocks for Jensen Beach (8-1).

Sebastian River d. Somerset College Prep 17-25, 25-22, 25-15, 26-24: Mikayla Lamb totaled 12 kills, 13 digs, five aces and four blocks in the win for the Sharks (4-2). Brooke Arce chipped in five kills, Ava Rhea collected 14 assists and Danielle Primevera had 19 assists for Sebastian River.
