Seattle Seahawks at Tennessee Titans: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 16 game

Drew Lock has the Seattle Seahawks (7-7) riding high after upsetting the defending NFC champions in a thriller last week.

Now, it's their turn to travel across the country as they take on the Tennessee Titans (5-9) at Nissan Stadium in a Week 16 matchup.

Lock stepped in for his second straight start on Monday and led the Seahawks to a 20-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. Julian Love had two interceptions and DK Metcalf had three key catches in the game-winning drive, which ended in a touchdown catch by Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

The Titans were on the butt end of a game-winning drive as they lost to the Houston Texans 19-16 on a last-second field goal. Rookie Will Levis was sacked seven times and injured his ankle. Derrick Henry had 16 carries and four receptions for an astonishingly low 10 total yards. According to CBS Sports Research, this is the lowest yards from scrimmage for a player with at least 20 touches since 1950.

Will the Seahawks be able to carry their momentum to a road win? Or will the Titans be fired up to not let history repeat itself?

Lorenzo Reyes: Seahawks 23, Titans 16

Seattle has the chance here for a letdown game after a big victory over the Eagles on Monday, but Will Levis may miss the game, and ankle injuries are tough, especially for mobile quarterbacks. Since Geno Smith was active, I’m thinking there’s a good chance he plays in this one.

Tyler Dragon: Seahawks 25, Titans 20

Expect the Seahawks to ride their momentum from a huge Monday night win over the Eagles into this game. The Titans have a stout defensive front seven, but their secondary is going to have a difficult time covering receivers DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Safid Deen: Seahawks 23, Titans 17

Seahawks backup quarterback Drew Lock had his moment against the Eagles, and could be in line to start Sunday in Tennessee. Seattle is traveling to Tennessee on a short week, but are playing for their playoff lives. It’s unclear which Titans team will show up at home on Sunday after getting eliminated from the playoffs last week.

Victoria Hernandez: Seahawks 23, Titans 15

Drew Lock showed last week that he has the leadership to will his team to a win. Even though they are at home, the Titans are nowhere near the caliber of the Eagles. Whether Geno Smith is healthy enough to return or Lock is given the reins again, Seattle should get a second victory as they keep their playoff hopes alive.

Jordan Mendoza: Seahawks 21, Titans 17

Seattle has new life in the playoff race after the win against Philadelphia. Tennessee is a team that shouldn’t be overlooked, but the Seahawks' defense is able to limit Derrick Henry to get another win.
