Seacoast roundup: Goffstown field hockey hands Portsmouth loss on Senior Night

PORTSMOUTH - The Goffstown High School field hockey team scored with 5 minutes left in overtime, and beat Portsmouth, 3-2 on Thursday in a Division II match.

The Clippers honored their seniors - Reagan Scully, Maggie Conklin, Sam Ruel, Grace Lucy, Audrey Walsh, and Sydney Moreau - before the game, their final one in the regular season at Tom Daubney Field.

The Clippers tied the game in the fourth quarter on Karina Beer's goal, assisted by Shiloh Weinstein. Walsh scored an unassisted goal in the third quarter for Portsmouth.

Portsmouth goalie Reese McCauley had 10 saves.

SOUTH BERWICK, Maine - Isabel Rothwell had two goals, and Erika Parker, Ella Holland and Sienna Sapountsis all had one for Marshwood in this Class A South shutout.

DOVER - Kadence Law, with an assist from Emma Massicotte, scored for St. Thomas Aquinas in a Division III overtime loss.

DOVER - Tatiana Stockbower had two goals and one assist for PCA (10-1) in this Division IV win. Jaela Stockbower and Sawyer Yim also scored for the Eagles.

YORK, Maine - Nick Hoy and Robbie Hanscom each scored a goal for York in this Class B South win. Sam Hunter had one assist for the Wildcats.

Portsmouth 2

Spaulding 0

ROCHESTER - Will Dedeus and Ben Purcell each scored a goal for Portsmouth in this Division I match.

James Dedeus and Gar Hindle each had an assist. Spaulding's Ben Brand played well.

GORHAM, Maine - The hosts scored five first-half goals en route to this Class A South win.

PORTSMOUTH - Madison Kolhase and Scout McNally each scored a goal for Portsmouth. Gia Giordano and Molly Berling both had an assist.

Portsmouth goalie Sierra Mikolaities earned the shutout, while Elise Sedam starred defensively.
