The Savannah Bananas return to Victory Field in Indianapolis in June
The Savannah Bananas will return to Indianapolis and Victory Field from June 27-29, 2024, the Indianapolis Indians announced Thursday.
The 2024 Banana World Tour has added a date to this year to the record-breaking stop. Sign up for presale alerts from the Bananas and Indians season ticket and mini plan holders will receive access to tickets before the general public.
"We saw firsthand this summer just how fun and captivating Banana Ball can be, welcoming the two biggest crowds in Savannah Bananas history to beautiful Victory Field," said Indians president and general manager Randy Lewandowski in a news release. "Our organization is thrilled to host the Bananas again."

The Bananas drew a record of nearly 30,000 fans to Victory Field this year. Tickets start at $35, and children age 3 and under get in free as long as they do not occupy a seat. Very Important Banana tickets are $85 and include early entry and a meet-and-greet with players.
The Bananas bring a circus-like atmosphere to baseball. Last year included pregame festivities such as a dance contest on the dugout, players trying to catch bananas in their pants over a foul ball net, a live tryout for the Bananas team, and an homage to the "Lion King" — replacing the lion cub with a human baby in a banana suit.
Music is constantly playing — even during at-bats — for fans to sing along. One player was rolled out to bat in a banana barrel, another came out in an Indianapolis Colts jersey and helmet, and a third came out to pitch in stilts.And when one player hits a home run, everyone on the team gets involved in the trot.
The most exciting part of the night came with fan involvement. One of the core rules of Banana Ball — the nine differentiated rules from MLB games — is that if a fan catches a foul ball, the batter is out.
