The Savannah Bananas are coming back to Nashville in 2024. How to score tickets.

The Savannah Bananas, known for their choreography and eccentric celebrations, are bringing their 2024 tour to Nashville.

They will return to the Nashville Sounds' home, First Horizon Park, where they played earlier this summer.

The team announced their world tour in a post to X Thursday. Along with playing at six Major League Baseball ballparks, the team will also be taking their wild antics to the sea.

The bananas aren't just playing baseball, they're playing banana ball, a twist to America's national pastime.

What's special about Savannah Bananas and Banana ball?

The barnstorming baseball team has become popular for its antics and TikTok videos. In addition to players and umpires breaking into choreographed dance routines during games, other antics have included a pitcher pitching a ball that is on fire, a batter doing the splits while batting, a batter hitting while wearing stilts, a strikeout that took just over 20 seconds to complete and an outfielder catching a fly ball mid-backflip.

Banana ball includes nine rule changes. Unlike regular baseball, banana ball is scored by accumulating points for innings won, instead of runs scored. Additionally, if the hitter steps out of the box, it's a strike and if a hitter bunts, they are ejected from the game.

How to get tickets to see the Savannah Bananas in 2024

This isn't your average baseball game, and the ticketing process is no different.

Tickets for the 2024 Banana Ball World Tour go on sale two months before the event. First, you will need to join the 'ticket lottery list' before it closes on Dec. 1, 2023. However, joining the list doesn't guarantee the opportunity to purchase tickets. A random drawing will take place about 2 months before the event. If you're selected, you'll have an opportunity to purchase tickets.

How to enter the Savannah Bananas ticket lottery list?

You will first need to submit your basic information, such as name, email address and city of interest. Once you have verified your information, you’ll receive confirmation that you’re eligible for the ticket lottery. Two months ahead of your desired event, you’ll receive updates as to how the random drawing will occur.

How much are tickets to see the Savannah Bananas?

Open seating tickets are $35 and VIB (very important banana) tickets are $100. VIB tickets grant early entry into the ballpark as well as meet and greet with the Bananas.
