Savannah Bananas are bringing baseball like you've never seen to Victory Field
How crazy could baseball be? You see the ball, you hit the ball.
The Savannah Bananas would like a word. Don't believe it? You can see for yourself when the team comes to Victory Field in 2023. The Bananas will play the Party Animals on Friday, June 30 as part of the 2023 Banana Ball World Tour.
Here's a taste of what is coming to Indy.
The rules for "Banana Ball" are unique. Things like: If a fan catches a foul ball, it's an out. No bunts allowed. There's a two-hour time limit.
“The Savannah Bananas provide a fun, captivating and family-friendly baseball experience for fans of all ages,” Randy Lewandowski, the Indianapolis minor league baseball team's president & general manager, said in a statement. “We are excited to welcome the newest and zaniest version of baseball, Banana Ball, to Victory Field next June.”
Tickets will go on sale later, and begin at $25.
