SCHEDULE: Dugger Union (2-14) vs. Madison Christian, 9:30 a.m. (C); Columbus Christian (7-7) vs. Seven Oaks Classical, 9:30 a.m. (T); Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2, 11 a.m. (C); Winner Game 1 vs. Cannelton (7-13), 12:30 p.m. (C); Winner Game 2 vs. Lighthouse Christian (5-10), 12:30 p.m. (T); Third place, 3 p.m. (C); Championship, 4:30 p.m. (C).
COACHES: Brian Brown, 15-44 in 3rd year at Lighthouse.
LAST OUTING: Lighthouse at Washington Catholic, Thursday.
OUTLOOK: Lighthouse will squeeze in two more games before sectionals begin next week. Lions were second in the league standings and earned a first-round bye. They're likely to face off against Columbus Christian, a team they beat 51-41 on Jan. 6. A win would likely set up a rematch with Cannelton. The Bulldogs beat LCA on Saturday, 43-32, to win the regular season title, but the Lions were without leading scorer and rebounder Abagail Rousey. Their lineup appears to be intact again.
