Saints upgrade Alvin Kamara, list other new ailments on updated injury report vs. Colts

Let’s start with the good news. The New Orleans Saints upgraded running back Alvin Kamara (illness) and right tackle Ryan Ramczyk (concussion) to full reps at practice on Thursday, signaling that they’ll be full-go on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts

Now the other shoe drops. Three players were added as limited participants on Thursday — cornerback Alontae Taylor has a hip injury while offensive guard Max Garcia and tight end Jimmy Graham were dealing with illnesses. Safety Marcus Maye was already limited with a hamstring issue but he’s also now listed with an illness. On top of that, safety J.T. Gray (hamstring) was downgraded and didn’t practice Thursday after being limited Wednesday. That hamstring issue has sidelined him for a few weeks now.

Other than that, everything else was unchanged for the Saints. Offensive lineman James Hurst (ankle) isn’t practicing. Limited participants included tight end Juwan Johnson (calf), offensive tackle Landon Young (hip), linebacker Demario Davis (knee), safety Tyrann Mathieu (foot), and quarterback Taysom Hill (chest). We’ll get game statuses for everyone on Friday’s final injury report, so stay tuned.
