Saints Beat Bears, 31-15

Drew Brees had a big night through the air, leading the way to a good win for the Saints over the Bears, 31-15, in Chicago.

Brees tore apart the Bears for three scores on 29 of 36 passing for 375 yards and no interceptions. In comparison, Jay Cutler did not have as good a night for the Bears, going 17 of 31 with 194 yards passing, two touchdowns and three picks.

Pierre Thomas rushed for 11 yards on two carries while adding five receptions for 83 yards. Josh Hill was a weapon for the offense, catching two balls for 15 yards with two touchdowns.

The New Orleans defensive unit led the way to a victory, allowing 125 yards rushing and 194 passing. They harassed Cutler and the Bears offensive line with an imposing seven sacks.

Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery contributed 78 receiving yards and one touchdown. Running back Matt Forte also had a noteworthy performance with 78 rushing yards and 21 receiving.

Next week, the Saints are at home against the Falcons (5-9) while the Bears play the Lions (10-4), also at home.
