It’s Monday, February 11, 2019, and here’s what Jared’s cooking up:
The AAF, an upstart football league, kicked off their inaugural season this weekend, giving America what it’s been missing for the last six days: football. But is the competition quality enough to distract America from missing the NFL?
One positive wrinkle in the AAF’s presentation that the NFL would do well to imitate is broadcasting their replay officials discussing a call in real time. The Rush imagines what a typical conversation between zebras might sound like.
In honor of the Grammys, Jared hands out a Grushy to commemorate the best comeback of the weekend. The Clippers, the Thunder and the Utah Utes all had great come from behind victories…but an unexpected nominee steals the award.
