- Game set. Naomi Osaka, overpowers Serena Williams.

JARED QUAY: I was so excited to see Serena Williams take on the Naomi Osaka in the Australian Open semifinals. But just like Brady versus Mahomes in the Super Bowl, the contest was a blowout. That's because the 23-year-old Osaka dominated Serena, beating her idol in straight sets.

NAOMI OSAKA: I don't know if there's any little kids out here today. But I was a little kid watching her play. And just to be on the court playing against her for me is a dream.

JARED QUAY: Naomi's won 20 straight matches. She's on fire, NBA jam style.

- He's on fire.

JARED QUAY: She's going to win the whole damn thing. I'll put my money on it right here right now. Let me get $20 on Osaka to win a championship. This is Serena's 10th attempt at tying Margaret Court's record of 24 grand slam wins.

She just need one to tie her and two to take the record. And at 39 years old, the window of opportunity is shrinking really quick. But let's be real. Serena is the greatest to ever do it even if she doesn't win another grand slam.

23 is a GOAT number. And we all know this. Consider this, Serena is one of the top athletes at any sport at any time of any gender.

And as of 2020, her career earnings are only around $92.7 million. Meanwhile, Fernando Tatis Junior, who is a hell of a player, but hasn't won a damn thing yet, is reportedly going to sign a $340 million extension with the Padres. Damn, that's a lot of money.

Serena should have been a baseball player. I bet you she could play that, too. You see them serves? She'd definitely [INAUDIBLE] a couple of times.

After beating the Nuggets last night, the Wizards are climbing out of the basement of the East, winning one game at a time. Now what seems like a random win for me and you, probably seems like a huge win, but this random, better. Let's get into the gold rush.

Did you know the other day someone bet $10,000 on the Washington Wizards to win the championship this year? On one hand, most of us are thinking this team can hardly make the playoffs let alone [INAUDIBLE]. On the other hand, I kind of get this bet because it's going to pay off $5 million if the Wizards win the [INAUDIBLE].

I mean, I'm rooting for them now. I mean, I kind of like the Lakers. I like the Bucks. But no, no, no, I'm going to tell you right now. I'm a Wizards fan. OK, stick with me for a second, all right. Now let's just say Bradley Beal starts averaging 60 points per game.

- That sounds reasonable.

- Then the Wizards stop giving up a league high 119 points a game on defense.

- I could see that.

- And the rest of the bubble teams in the East lose most of their games.

- Umm--

- Well, hot damn, the Wizards are in the playoffs. I mean, I could see it happen.

- Oh my God.

- No, there's no way this happens. I'm going to be honest with you. No way at all this is going to happen.

Now, if you think the Wizards are going to win the NBA championship, please visit BetMGM.com/Yahoo and sign up for the Yahoo Sports book today. Hell, if you're going to make bets like that, I'll give you $25 to start off.

I can see it now. The Nets get the one seed. But they suck on defense.

So the Wizards get some magic going. And they upset them in game 7. In fact, I'm about to go ahead and put $2 on the Wizards to win a championship, too. You convinced me $10,000.
