Rick Lamb makes cut at 2021 U.S. Open

The 121st United States Open Championship is taking place June 17–20 at Torrey Pines (South) in San Diego, California.

Former Tennessee Volunteer golfer Rick Lamb is part of the 2021 player field.

Lamb finished even after first round play. The former Vol was +4 in the second round.

He made the cut and will tee off at 10:54 a.m. EDT from hole No. 1. Edoardo Molinari is paired with Lamb.

Lamb, a native of South Bend, Indiana, began his collegiate career at Santa Clara University before transferring to play for the Volunteers.

He played high school golf at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

Lamb won three events while playing for the Vols and finished tied for second at the 2013 NCAA Division I national championship.
