The Republic's Big 150: Top college football prospects in Arizona's 2024 high school class

It's time to start rolling out the top college football prospects in Arizona high schools in the 2024 class. College coaches from across the country have made this state a must-see for players with so much growth, particularly in the Phoenix area.

Every week, The Arizona Republic has added 10 names to the Big 150, a look at the top prospects who will be entering their senior season in the summer. This class is loaded, maybe more than any in the last 10 years.

Note: This is revised with No. 1 recruit Dylan Raiola, a quarterback, who transferred from Chandler to Pinnacle, making the move to Georgia, where he will play his senior season at Buford High.

Big 150 2024

1. Elijah Rushing, Tucson Salpointe Catholic, DE, 6-6, 235

He is ranked No. 8 overall nationally by 247Sports. His cat-like quickness and ability to break through blocks make him the toughest guy in the state to keep out of the backfield. Major colleges have lined up for him since his sophomore year. As of March 23, he had 37 college football offers. Among those are Notre Dame, Miami, Ohio State, Washington and Oregon.

2. Demond Williams Jr., Chandler Basha, QB, 5-11, 180

Built in the mold of Bryce Young. But Williams might be as good a dual threat as you will find in the country. If a play breaks down, Williams' speed and moves make him a difficult guy to catch. He did that on his way to leading Basha to its first Open Division state championship last season. This will be his fourth year as a varsity starter and he has progressed every year. He is committed to Ole Miss, even though colleges, such as Arizona State, still are pursuing him.

3. Christian Clark, Phoenix Mountain Pointe, RB, 6-0, 195

He might be way underrated nationally (270th overall in 247Sports Composite, because the 30-something offers he's gotten since last season ended will tell another story. Easily the most recruited football player in Mountain Pointe history, he picked up offers from Oregon, Penn State, Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, Arizona State, Arizona, and Florida State, among the many major colleges. Somebody thinks he can play.

4. Jaxson Jones, Yuma Catholic, DE, 6-3, 215

He was committed last year to Washington, but since then flipped it to Oregon. He has 15 major college offers, and he's yet to reach his ceiling. He's a tremendous athlete who also starts at receiver for the Shamrocks. He's the biggest recruit the 4A school has had. Jones' quickness and power off the edge put him in a special category of elite pass rushers in the nation.

5. Luke Moga, Phoenix Sunnyslope, QB, 6-3, 205

He's got 24 offers, almost all of those coming after his junior season. They include UA, ASU, Miami, Northwestern, Oklahoma State, TCU, Oregon and Oregon State. No player in Arizona has jumped like this in one year than Moga, who, Sunnyslope coach Sam Jacobs says, "Has arm talent to make every throw, and he's a serious athlete with elite speed."

6. Miles Lockhart, Basha, RB/DB, 5-11, 190

He is one of the top defensive backs in the country who, among his 20-plus offers, has Ohio State, Oregon, Utah, Iowa, Northwestern, Kansas State, ASU, UA, Louisville and Oregon State. He is such a great athlete that he'll be on offense a lot more next season, likely at running back. Great hands out of the backfield. Key players the last three seasons for the Bears, who played a big role on one of the best defenses in the state last season.

7. Aundre Gibson, Goodyear Desert Edge, DB/KR, 5-11, 175

After 14 major college offers, he chose to commit to Kansas. He's one of the best lock-down corners in the nation and as good a return man as you will find. He's a lot like Cole Martin, who starred at Basha the last two years and will be playing at Oregon next season. Gibson is a game-changer on defense, and, if you kick it to him, do it at your own risk. He'll take it to the house.

8. Ca'lil Valentine, Chandler, RB, 6-0, 180

He missed some games the last two seasons due to injuries. But when he's healthy, there may not be a more explosive and dynamic offensive player in the state in the way he can elude defenders and catch the ball out of the backfield. He was on pace to be the Player of the Year last season before an ankle injury late in the season slowed him. Among his offers are ASU, UA, Oregon, Utah, Penn State, Nebraska, Washington, Washington State, Michigan State, Kansas State, Miami, Boston College, Colorado State, UNLV, New Mexico State and Northern Arizona.

9. Jeremiah Newcombe, Queen Creek Casteel, DB/WR, 5-11, 175

One of the best athletes not only in the state but in the country, who also plays basketball and runs track. He starred at receiver and cornerback and can change the game on either side of the ball. But he projects as a major college cornerback. He has 21 offers, including UA, ASU, BYU, California and Colorado.

10. Dillon Hipp, Scottsdale Desert Mountain, TE, 6-6, 240

His recruiting has blown up since the end of last season with 32 offers, including Auburn, Baylor, BYU, Miami, Ole Miss, TCU, Tennessee, Texas Tech and Oregon. He's got the size, hands, and ability to make tough catches in traffic to be one of the nation's top tight ends.

11. Noah Carter, Peoria Centennial, DE, 6-4, 230

He was an electric player on both sides of the ball, catching passes at receiver and creating turnovers at edge rusher in the team's turnaround season. He has nine Division I offers, including ASU and UA, Iowa State and Colorado State. Big-time impact player.

12. Kennedy Urlacher, Chandler, S, 6-1, 185

Son of Hall of Fame linebacker Brian Urlacher has seen his recruiting skyrocket since his junior season ended with 18 offers. He's as hard a hitter as you will see from a safety. A hybrid who can play linebacker, strong safety and free safety. Fierce competitor.

13. Mardale Rowe, Phoenix Brophy Prep, DE, 6-3, 235

He's been a beast on the edge the last two seasons. Improved strength, speed and quickness makes him one of the best edge rushers in the Western United States. Watch for a huge season from Rowe, who had double-digit offers.

14. Nijrell Eason II, Gilbert Higley, CB, 6-0, 170

His offers include Iowa State, Purdue, Arizona, Nevada, San Diego State, UNLV and Colorado State. Great man cover guy with outstanding ball skills who is not afraid to come up and make a tackle.

15. Donovan Aidoo, Higley DB, 6-2, 190

Another great cover guy in what is one of the best defensive backfields in the state. Great tackler, hard hitter, long and fast. Offers include Iowa State, Washington State, San Diego State, UA, ASU, Marshall, Nevada, UNLV and NAU.

16. Jaedon Matthews, Scottsdale Saguaro, RB, 5-10, 180

He's a three-star recruit who has offers from Wisconsin, Washington State, Georgia Tech, UA, ASU, California, and Colorado. Elite speed, great hands out of the backfield, great vision and balance. Watch how he'll be utilized out of Zac Hill's offense. He's ready to have a monster senior season.

17. Dylan Tapley, Scottsdale Desert Mountain, S/WR, 6-4, 205

One of the most versatile football players in the state with the way he can change the game on both offense and defense. He projects to be a college safety with his range and speed. An interception machine. He has multiple offers, including ASU and UA, Iowa State, Colorado State and Kansas.

18. Kenny Worthy III, Centennial, DB, 6-0, 178

A tremendous athlete who can do it all on the field. He's a lock-down corner who is a threat to score every time he touches the ball. And the Centennial coaches will make sure they put him in spots to take advantage of his speed and skills. He returns kicks and plays receiver on offense.

19. Deshawn Warner, Desert Edge, DE, 6-4, 225

It's the year of the edge rusher in Arizona and Warner is right up there with the best of them. A beast in the backfield, tracking down quarterbacks. He has put in great work in the offseason to make a major impact next season. He has 15 offers, including UA, ASU, Kansas and Iowa State.

20. Brandon Phelps, American Leadership Gilbert North, WR, 6-3, 190

He was one of the earliest 2024 commits to the University of Arizona. He had a phenomenal junior season leading the Eagles to their first AIA state football championship in 4A. He caught 97 passes for 1,710 yards and 28 TDs. He has offers from Arizona State and Michigan State. Played a big role on the basketball team that reached the Open tournament.

21. Santana Wilson, Desert Mountain, CB, 6-0, 180

He has at least 14 offers, including the University of Miami. His father, former Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson, was hired as an executive with the NFL Carolina Panthers. Sterling says he is staying in Scottsdale for his senior season, which will give Desert Mountain a strong nucleus of returning players who could put the Wolves in the mix for an Open championship.

22. Dylan Lee, Gilbert Williams Field, RB, 6-1, 193

He splashed onto the scene last year when he broke the single-game 6A state rushing record with 518 yards on 24 carries against Chaparral. He'll be the featured back next season. He's got all upside in his game. Great leader. Works hard. Explosive and strong. Fast.

23. Kezion Dia-Johnson, Desert Edge, WR, 6-0, 170

This will be his first full season at Desert Edge, after having to sit out the first five games of his junior season due to his transfer from Laveen Cesar Chavez. He's one of the best big-play threats in his state with his hands, speed, moves and ability to catch the ball in traffic.

24. Jaxon Branch, Chandler, WR, 6-2, 190

He's got offers from both Arizona and Arizona State. This should be his breakout season. A combination of size and speed makes him a tough matchup as an outside wide receiver. He had 33 catches for 628 yards last season when he led the team in receiving.

25. Adam Mohammed, Glendale Apollo, RB/CB, 5-10, 185

Maybe the best athlete of his long line of talented brothers, he's a home run hitter at tailback and can catch the ball out of the backfield as well as anybody. He even played some quarterback last season. A tremendous and electric athlete who has several Division I offers, including Utah State, Boston College and Colorado State. An absolute steal for somebody if a Power 5 doesn't statch him up.

26. Kaden Anderson, Chandler, TE, 6-4, 225

Big, athletic target who can block and shed tacklers after catches. He also runs track. He had 32 catches, six for TDs, last season and expects to have a huge senior season. Offers include NAU, Dartmouth, Penn, Yale, Air Force and Bucknell. Exceptional student.

27. Carter Lavrusky, Phoenix Horizon, OL, 6-6, 265

He might be the best offensive tackle in the state. He's got offers from Arizona and Colorado State. Three-sport standout who plays basketball and throws the discus and shot put in track and field. Strong and athletic.

28. Plas Johnson, Scottsdale Chaparral, Athlete, 6-1, 175

Great track athlete, he runs 100 meters in 11 seconds and the 200 in 22 seconds. An electric receiver who could play at the next level as a defensive back and as a kick returner, as well. He's got nine Division I offers, the latest coming from Pac-12 Washington.

29. Tommy Prassas, Basha, DB, 6-2, 185

He'll be starting his third season on varsity in the secondary. A three-star recruit, this track season he ran a laser 11.09-seconds 100 meters. His offers include Central Michigan and New Mexico State. Expect his recruiting to ramp up in May.

30. Bernard Legend, Chandler Hamilton, WR, 6-0, 175

He has close to 10 Division I offers. A talented three-sport athlete who also plays basketball and runs track. He's got a huge upside. Big-play receiver.

31. Keona Wilhite, Salpointe Catholic, DL, 6-5, 240

Freak athlete who is strong, fast, quick, and will bull his way into the backfield quickly to gobble up running backs and quarterbacks. Arizona and Arizona State have offered.

32. Cayden Gibson, Chandler Arizona College Prep, OLB, 6-2, 215

He's got big potential and excellent grades that have brought him attention from Princeton, Columbia, Drake and Yale. He has been offered by Montana Tech and Puget Sound. He led 4A with 18.5 sacks last season when he was region Defensive Player of the Year.

33. JoJo Clark, Saguaro, Athlete, 5-10, 185

Might appear undersized but he can play at a Power 5. Offers include Arizona, San Diego State and NAU. He'll play linebacker for coach Zak Hill. Has great instincts. Tough, physical, fast. Great athlete.

34. Jacobi Spence, Saguaro, WR/DB, 5-11, 180

A three-star recruit with offers from Washington, Nevada and UNLV. Explosive on both sides of the ball. Great hands and body control with an excellent change of direction and top speed. He is a playmaker who stood out in Saguaro's run to the Open final last year.

35. Navi Bruzon, Peoria Liberty, QB, 5-11, 190

Maybe the most underrated football player in Arizona. He was the Gatorade Arizona Player of the Year last season when he led Liberty to an 11-1 record and an Open semifinal finish. Has amazing accuracy, a strong arm and can run. His size shouldn't be a detriment in his recruiting. He's a born winner.

36. Zues Pindernation, Goodyear Millennium, RB, 5-9, 180

Only offer is from Arizona. But he's as electric as any player with the ball in his hands. He's been impressive on Friday nights since his sophomore year when he made a big splash. He's only gotten better each year.

37. Michael Watkins, Apollo, OL, 6-3, 290

Has Arizona and Colorado State offers. Big interest from Montana State, Weber State and more. Big ceiling. Untapped potential. A big, physical kid who can move and eat up space and finish off blocks. Projects to play center in college.

38. Greg Bienvenue, Mesa Desert Ridge, OL, 6-4, 285

Offers from ASU and Oregon State and high interest from Texas, Washington, Oregon, Clemson, UCLA and Michigan. His recruiting is about to blow up in May. Long arms. Nasty in the trenches.

39. Mason Arhin, Basha, WR, 6-1, 175

Holds offers from ASU, UA, Colorado State, New Mexico and New Mexico State. Fast, elusive, great hands. He will be a three-year varsity starter.

40. Javery Mayberry, Basha, TE, 6-5, 230

A freak athlete who came on strong in the playoffs last season. Had to sit out half the season due to his transfer move from Eastmark. He's a huge target with soft hands, will catch anything in traffic and make plays after catches. Good blocker too.

41. Keyvon Thomas, Tempe Corona del Sol, CB, 6-1, 175

Has offers from Nevada, Utah and Colorado State. Lock-down corner with great ball skills and speed. Should have a big senior season on a team that could make some noise at state.

42. Jaci Dickerson, Saguaro, WR/DB, 5-9, 165

A three-star recruit with offers from ASU, UA and Oregon. Very good speed and change of direction. Can play both sides of the ball. Explosive playmaker.

43. Ryan Wolfer, Liberty, TE/OL, 6-5, 240

Recruiting is about to blow up this spring. He's long, athletic and will fill into his large frame. He'll be the anchor of Liberty's line. Offers include NAU, Idaho and Colorado State.

44. Devan Kennedy, Brophy Prep, DE, 6-3, 245

His recruiting could blow up in May. He put on 55 pounds since last year, which was his first season playing football. He is the son of former first-round NFL draft pick Jimmy Kennedy, who was a two-time All-Big Ten defensive lineman at Penn State.

45. Billy Eastep, Brophy Prep, DB, 6-1, 200

A talented lacrosse player, he missed his junior football season due to a shoulder injury. He's fully healed now and ready to break out big. He has offers from Washington State and Idaho. High grade-point average.

46. Luis Cordova, Salpointe Catholic, OL, 6-4, 270

He'll be a four-year starting offensive lineman and a team captain. Holds an offer from Arizona.

47. Jonathan Kamara, Desert Edge, DB/LB, 6-4, 205

Kind of a hybrid strong safety/linebacker, he had five Division I offers in one month. One of the most explosive prospects who should get lots of attention during spring practices.

48. Matthew Lado, Apollo, OL/DL, 6-6, 260

Great leverage. Finishes blocks. Strong, holds his own in the trenches. The Hawks could have their best-ever offensive line.

49. Justice Spann, Chandler, WR, 6-2, 195

This should be his big breakout year. He's gotten Power 5 attention. It's a matter of putting it all together. Long and athletic with good speed and hands.

50. Dax Hall, Higley, RB, 5-9, 170

He had a breakout junior season, showing elite speed and vision. Great pass catcher out of the backfield. Very quick with balance. Makes people miss. Talented kick returner.

51. Sa'Kylee Woodard, Oro Valley Canyon del Oro, OL, 6-3, 300

He has an Arizona offer. One of the best interior offensive linemen in the state. Powerful, quick, pulls out well to make blocks to spring running backs loose.

52. Keegan Shank, Chaparral, DE/TE, 6-4, 250

He was one of the few bright spots on a three-win team last year, a versatile athlete who can also kick. Can impact the game at tight end and defensive end. He has a recent Air Force offer.

53. Jack Bleier, Basha, LB, 6-1, 235

He made first-team all-region at defensive end on last year's Open state champion team. He is converting to middle linebacker. His recruiting likely will blow up. Great range and tough, tenacious tackler.

54. Jordan Howard, Basha, DE, 6-2, 240

This guy is a beast. Quick, powerful, fast. Gets into backfields so fast that quarterbacks have little time to get out of his grasp.

55. Kason Colbert, Tucson Mica Mountain, LB/RB, 6-2, 225

He only played six games last year but still made Kino Region Player of the Year. A physical, fast player who will be a college linebacker.

56. Connor Cameron, Gilbert Campo Verde, OT, 6-7, 290

His recruiting will blow up. Great size, and not done growing. Great feet and coordination.

57. Amare Taase, Saguaro, OL, 6-3, 310

He has offers from Utah State, UNLV, Eastern Michigan and NAU. Big, bright, exceptional leader. He plays tackle for the Sabercats but he'll be an inside offensive lineman in college with good feet.

58. Randle Parker, Mountain Pointe, 5-9, 195

He's the perfect counterbalance in the backfield with Christian Clark. Great speed and balance and will break tackles. New Mexico State, Idaho and NAU offers.

59. Brady Bakke, Centennial, OL, 6-6, 290

An anchor on a talented offensive line who will get serious college attention this spring and summer. Recently visited USC.

60. Brady McDonough, Desert Mountain, QB, 6-1, 198

Accepted a Navy appointment, where he'll play. He's a top golfer who should become the full-time starting quarterback on a team that has state championship aspirations. Cool under pressure. Good, accurate arm. Can run.

61. Jake Busot, Arizona College Prep, WR, 6-1, 175

Made first-team all-region last year when he had 1,018 yards and seven TDs receiving. Smooth route runner, has great interest from Division II and FCS schools, notably Colorado School of the Mines, Princeton and Drake. Has offers from Grinnell and Puget Sound.

62. Ryan Willey, Buckeye Verrado, DE, 6-3, 200

Tremendous athlete who excels in track and field. He had a breakout sophomore season but had a setback last season with injuries. He should be at full strength and be able to show college his potential by being a beast on the edge.

63. Nate LaDuke, American Leadership Queen Creek, DB, 6-1, 175

Son of former Alhambra High and Arizona State star safety Nathan LaDuke, he's a lot like his dad, playing free safety. He even picked up an Arizona State offer from new coach Kenny Dillingham. He's got great athleticism and sees the field well. Great ball instincts.

64. Marshall Gillette, Phoenix Northwest Christian, OLB/WR, 6-2, 195

He made 4A all-region on both sides of the ball last season. A dynamic athlete who had 53 catches for nearly 600 yards and returned two interceptions for touchdowns last season.

65. Khameron Athy, Phoenix Central, RB, 5-9, 190

Moved in this summer from Tennessee, where he was one of the state's top running backs, rushing for more than 1,000 yards last season at Northeast in Clarksville. Will make an immediate impact for the Bobcats, as college coaches follow him.

66. Jackson Finefrock, Hamilton, S, 6-1, 180

He might be the fastest player on the team. Runs a laser 4.4-second 40-yard dash. Returning starting safety who has a Division I offers. Speed and instincts set him apart as a free safety.

67. Connor Ackerley, Corona del Sol, QB, 6-1, 160

Watch for a monster senior season from Ackerley, who has continued to make big strides since his sophomore year. He was an all-state honorable mention last year. Can pass and run to make big plays.

68. Gage Baker, Surprise Paradise Honors, QB, 6-1, 175

May get underlooked because he plays in 3A, but he puts up huge numbers every year. He can play Division I college football. Great leader. He passed for nearly 4,000 yards and 54 TDs as a junior, completing 72% of his passes.

69. Gideon Enter, Phoenix Arizona Lutheran, LB/RB, 5-7, 195

Tremendous workhorse, never leaving the field. He ran for 1,164 yards and 11 TDs last season, but he's even better on defense. He added 20 pounds in the offseason, working hard in the weight room. Great track athlete.

70. Jack Freeburg, Desert Mountain WR, 6-0, 175

He is within 90 catches of setting the career state record for receptions. Very capable of doing that after monster sophomore and junior seasons. Fast, runs great routes and makes big plays.

71. Naji Sherrod, Hamilton, LB, 6-2, 217

He had a breakout junior season with 70 tackles and two sacks. He'll lead a defense that graduates key players but returns enough experience, with added strong newcomers, to be one of the best in the state. A fierce competitor.

72. Jordan Blake, Mesa Skyline, RB, 5-7, 189

He was second-team All-5A by the coaches last year. He was a region co-Offensive Player of the Year, and set a single-season school rushing record. Offered by Arizona Christian.

73. Lenoxx Hicks, Phoenix Sierra Linda, DL, 6-1, 240

An explosive defensive lineman who can play the edge or inside. He had 102 tackles, 31 for losses, and 12 sacks last season.

74. Gerayas Grimes, Casteel, DB, 5-11, 165

Has been offered by NAU. An excellent safety who covers a lot of space. He runs 100 meters in 10.8 seconds.

75. Jamison Stamps, Basha, DB, 5-10, 175

Plays a great cover corner. He is a two-sport athlete who competes in track. Offers include Adams State.

76. Deven Highsmith, Laveen Cesar Chavez, RB, 5-9, 165

Great speed, cutback moves and vision in open field. Leader. Should have a breakout senior season.

77. Keaton Stam, Liberty, LB, 6-1, 215

He is one of the best tacklers in the state. Great instincts. Forces turnovers. He can change the game with his explosive plays.

78. Jacob Harkins, Sunnyslope, OL/DL, 6-2, 270

Offered by NAU. He's a big-time road grader and QB Luke Moga's best friend, protecting him in the pocket.

79. Noah Trigueros, Notre Dame Prep, QB, 6-2, 185

He has multiple Ivy League offers. Great arm and vision and makes all the throws. Good escapability.

80. Ismail "Izzy" Foz, Phoenix Central, DB/K, 6-0, 180

Picked up an NAU offer. He's been a big part of Central's football team since his sophomore year. He was a first-team all-district kicker and one of the best cornerbacks in the state. Versatile athlete who makes everybody around him better.

81. Jaylen Dawson, Desert Edge, LB, 6-2, 220

Has multiple Division I offers. Led the team in tackles last season. Was a consistent force every game on defense. Never takes a play off.

82. Markhi McKinnon, Desert Edge, RB, 6-0, 205

He is starting to generate major interest from Division I colleges. Transferred in for the spring semester from Phoenix Barry Goldwater, where he led 5A in rushing last season. Big, physical, punishing runner who should make a big impact in the second half of the season when he becomes eligible.

83. Caleb Smith, Hamilton, DL, 6-1, 235

Absolute beast. He's gotten bigger, faster, stronger. He had nine tackles for losses last season as a five technique. Great balance and toughness.

84. Jacob Jenners, Sunnyslope, OL/DL, 6-2, 240

He's added size and strength since last season. Never leaves the field. Makes big impact on both sides of the line. Goes the extra yard to make himself and the team better. Excellent leader. An anchor on a talented offensive line and an enforcer on defense.

85. Beckham Pellant, Hamilton, QB, 6-0, 195

He took over early in the season after Rock Cholowsky went down with an injury and showed tremendous leadership skills. Capable of passing and running. Had 1,533 yards passing and 366 yards rushing. Threw for 424 yards and four TDs in an Open playoff loss to Saguaro.

86. Dylan Nolan-Cook, Horizon, OL, 6-6, 315

He also plays baseball. Has interest from Division I schools. Plays offensive tackle. Can develop into a Power 5 tackle.

87. Carter Pruitt, Phoenix Arcadia, S, 6-3, 195

A punishing tackler at free safety, he will also play some tight end for the Titans. ASU showing interest.

88. Khary Beler, Arcadia, DL/OL, 6-2, 310

Had two older brothers play at Arcadia, and he could be the most talented. His father played at Nebraska. He has made big strides in the offseason with his work in the weight room.

89. Michael Casillas, Morenci, RB, 5-9, 165

Recently hired coach Rishard Davis will turn Casillas loose after he ran for 1,936 yards and 32 TDs on the 2A level last year. He has more than 4,000 rushing yards in his varsity career.

90. Eli Kerby, Highland, RB, 6-0, 210

He had a monster game in the 6A state championship game last year, helping the Hawks go back-to-back. Recruiting started to ramp up late in spring ball once college coaches got a good look at him. He's got the size, balance and speed to play at the Division I level.

91. Camden Jury, Casteel, OL, 6-7, 315

He was second-team All-Premier Region in 6A last year. Big, mobile, powerful offensive tackle who has a long reach and good feet.

92. Jackson Barton, Phoenix Sandra Day O'Connor, CB, 6-1, 185

One of the top corners in the state, he will be starting varsity in his third year. Has offers from UNLV, Montana State, Nevada, Idaho and NAU.

93. Kanyon Floyd, Horizon, K/P, 6-0, 170

Committed on May 21 to Arizona State after picking up a full scholarship offer this spring. Big legs, is accurate and can punt and kick. Averaged 50 yards a punt last season with 14 placed inside the 20-yard line. Made 5 of 7 field goals.

94. Enoch Watson, American Leadership Queen Creek, QB, 6-2, 190

He'll pick up where Drew Cowart left off, leading a potent offense for the Patriots, who are moving from 5A to 6A this year. He picked up an offer from BYU late in spring football. A strong summer should lead to more offers.

95. Santino Varvel, Canyon View, WR, 6-3, 180

He had 42 catches for 767 yards and nine TDs last season, making first-team all-region. Good hands, speeds and makes plays after catches.

96. Hayden Allen, Centennial, DB, 6-0, 190

The free safety transferred from Glendale Mountain Ridge to Centennial in the spring after Doug Madoski stepped down as head coach. He would have been Mountain Ridge’s top returning defender.

97. Bryson Ballard, Central, DB, 5-10, 175

Rarely leaves the field. Starts at running back and cornerback. Had four interceptions, two returned for touchdowns, last season. Fastest player on the team.

98. Carson Keim, Hamilton, C, 6-2, 275

He's made great progress every year in high school and should emerge as one of the top centers in the state this coming season. He has a huge upside with his lower-body strength. Still growing. Son of former Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim.

99. Spencer Halvorson, Pinnacle, S/RB, 6-2, 195

Versatile athlete who can play multiple positions on defense, he picked up his first Division I offer from Idaho. Has worked hard to develop into a Division I football player.

100. Josh Morales, Paradise Honors, WR, 6-1, 170

He is Gage Baker's favorite go-to target and has a chance to put up record numbers this year, after making 57 catches for 902 yards and 16 TDs in 2022. Sure-handed, quick, fast, runs great routes. Recruiting will take off this season.

101. Braylon Gardner, Liberty, TE/WR 6-3, 210

A hybrid tight end/wide receiver who can also play in the slot, catches everything and will be a main target for Navi Bruzon, one of the best quarterbacks in Arizona.

102. Jack Franklin, Pinnacle, DE, 6-5, 225

Committed on May 25 to the Air Force Academy. Anchors a strong defensive front. Great edge rusher who has a nose for the ball. Part of the 6A state runner-up team.

103. Zechariah Owens, Glendale, QB/Athlete, 6-3, 190

Maybe the most underrated player in the state, he had a 3.9 GPA this school year. Great dual threat who makes defenders miss. Big arm. A home run hitter with arm and legs.

104.  Carson Kolb, Horizon, LB, 6-3, 215

He was a 5A All-San Tan Region linebacker last season and has interest from multiple colleges. Offered by NAU. Had 67 tackles, 14 for losses and two interceptions as a junior.

105. Anthony Segura, Horizon, RB/LB, 6-2, 210

Coach Andy Litten calls him one of the best athletes on the team. Big, physical back who makes an impact on both sides of the ball.

106. Kody Cullimore, Highland, Athlete, 5-10, 175

He is one of the best two-way players in the state, making an impact at running back and defensive back. He was clutch in the playoffs, leading the Hawks to the 6A title for the second year in a row. Very coachable. Does all the right things. Consummate team player.

107. Willie Brown, Tolleson, OL, 6-3, 250

Still developing. Will start at left tackle on an improved team. Made all-region last year.

108. Brady Forst, Arcadia, WR, 5-7, 175

Dynamic with the ball in his hands as a running back or receiver. Could play both spots. Had 50 catches for 800 yards as a sophomore. His junior season was cut short by injuries, but he will be 100% this season. Has Ivy League grades. Could play at NAU.

109. Conner Secor, Horizon, OL, 6-1, 240

He started at right guard on a very good Horizon team last year. Continuing to develop. Good feet, strong, still growing.

110. Jon Wilson Jr., Liberty, RB, 5-10, 195

Moved into Peoria the first week of June, giving the Lions a big-time tailback that will take stress off of quarterback Navi Bruzon and add balance needed to get over that Open semifinal hump. He was a big-time back in Las Vegas, running the ball for Shadow Ridge. He ran for 717 yards and 12 TDs, averaging 11 yards a carry last year.

111. Jaylen Jones, Hamilton, DB, 6-0, 190

He has a dozen Division I offers, really blowing up in May when college recruiters came through. He's athletic and a tough, hard-nosed tackler who has tremendous ball skills.

112. Breylon Blount, Hamilton, RB, 5-6, 165

He runs a 40-yard 4.4 laser time. Extremely quick. Holds a D. I offer. He'll be a big-play back running behind one of the best and biggest offensive lines in the state.

113. Mason Reidhead, Snowflake, OL, 6-1, 250

He'll be a third-year varsity starter who helped the Lobos reach the state final in their first year in 4A, after moving up from 3A. Powerful, fast, aggressive, quick feet, he's part of the entire returning starting line.

114. Samuel Delgado, Tucson Catalina Foothills, RB, 5-8, 190

He is back after rushing for 1,149 yards and 18 TDs, averaging 8.6 yards a carry, as a junior on a 6-4 team. Tough, fast, durable, hits the hole quickly and will pop outside for touchdowns.

115. James Cobb, Desert Mountain, OT, 6-4, 275

He will help anchor a talented offensive line as a third-year varsity starter. Big and explosive, good hands, can get downfield to finish blocks.

116. Matteo Rodriguez, Chandler, OL, 6-5, 285

He'll be in his third year starting for the Wolves, the main anchor at left tackle that should spring Ca'lil Valentine loose. Long and athletic, strong run blocker and pass protector.

117. Sammie Hunter, Chandler, DB, 5-10, 175

Athletic corner who started last year. Strong ball skill who will compete for 50-50 balls. Runs track.

118. Jose Chavez, Corona del Sol, OL, 6-4, 280

A big anchor on a strong line, he'll help lead the Aztecs to the state playoffs. He'll help trigger one of the most explosive offenses in the state.

119. Phillip Braxton, Centennial, Athlete, 6-0, 185

Put him anywhere and he'll make plays. He plays strong safety and wide receiver. Has a 3.7 GPA. Big future ahead as a Division I prospect. He picked up a Navy offer. He transferred from Cesar Chavez in early April.

120. Randall Branton, Skyline, QB, 6-3, 175

He has put in the offseason work to have a breakout senior season. Good arm, reads defenses well, always soaking up new information to get better.

121. Bryson Dedmon, Saguaro, WR, 5-8, 160

Kind of a shocker that he would leave Basha, which has one of the best quarterbacks in the nation in Demond Williams Jr., especially coming off an Open state championship season. But he transferred to Saguaro, where he'll get used to a new quarterback for the first time in his high school career. He's got playmaking abilities that set him apart.

122. Tyton Slade, American Leadership Gilbert North, WR/DB, 6-2, 190

Overshadowed at his own school by Brandon Phelps, but he's got a chance to make it big in Division I football at either wide receiver or defensive back. He's great on both sides of the ball. He had more than 1,000 yards with 14 touchdowns receiving as a junior on a 4A championship team. On defense, he had nine interceptions with more than 200 return yards, not to mention 73 tackles.

123. Cameron Hackworth, Tucson Sabino, QB, 5-10, 175

He's been a varsity starter since his freshman year. He had 31 TD passes last season when he completed nearly 70% of his passes. He also ran for 600 yards and eight TDs. Maybe the best small school dual threat in the state. Electrifying athlete.

124. Andrew Trapp, Scottsdale Christian, WR/KR, 5-11, 185

He had nearly 900 receiving yards, averaging 19 yards a catch as a junior. He was the region Player of the Year.

125. Jack Atkinson, Scottsdale Christian, QB, 6-4, 195

He'll be throwing a lot to Trapp. One of the best, if not the best, small-school dynamic duo in Arizona. He threw for 1,823 yards and 30 TDs and was intercepted three times last year.

126. Deacon Shea, Notre Dame Prep, LB, 5-11, 205, LB/RB

Phenomenal linebacker who also makes big plays on offense running the ball. He'll be a big part of a great 5A team that could make an Open Division run.

127. Jaqua Anderson, Desert Edge, WR, 5-11, 175

He has excellent breakaway speed, a big-play receiver who had a big impact on Liberty's 10-0 regular season last year. He made the transfer move to Desert Edge in the offseason. If he sits the first five games due to the AIA transfer rule, he'll make Desert Edge's secondary that much better in the first half of the season in practice.

128. Dylan Escalante, Surprise Shadow Ridge, OL, 6-6, 280

This left tackle who started all 10 games last season will anchor a solid, experienced offensive line. He's an explosive tackle, solid pass protector and run blocker.

129. Isaiah Savoie, Red Mountain, RB, 5-11, 190

He transferred in from Apache Junction, where he ran for 1,865 yards and 24 TDs last season. Fast and punishing runner. Will have to get hardship in order not to miss the first half of the season. He'll be a game-changer.

130. Jack Germaine, Mountain View, QB, 6-1, 180

He is expected to be cleared to start the season opener, after having surgery last fall to repair a torn ACL. It was his third ACL surgery in four years, but Western New Mexico offered him in June.

131. Tayo Omotinugbon, Queen Creek, OL/DE, 6-3, 272

He committed on June 16 to Boise State. Very athletic, versatile lineman who can play both sides of the ball. He ran a laser 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds. One of the state's top track and field throwers in the shot and discus.

132. Ramar Williams, Eastmark, DL, 6-4, 255

Committed to Arizona State on June 17, he is one of the more versatile defensive linemen in the state. Can play inside or outside. Had 67 tackles, 10 for losses and four sacks on 3A championship team last year.

133. Evan Tarasenko, Northwest Christian, QB, 6-1, 190

He moved in this spring from Hawaii, where he showed of a strong, accurate arm on a run-heavy team in Maui. He is poised and a strong leader.

134. Orion Kupu, Chandler, S, 5-8, 165

This kid can flat make plays. He flies to the ball. Is all over the field. Great instincts. Can play anywhere in the secondary.

135. Braiden Lagafuaina, Cactus, QB/DB, 6-3, 175

Good athlete who also plays volleyball. He could be an impact college defensive backs. Expects to lead the offense and play safety on defense on team that reached 5A final last year.

136. Dylan LaFlamme, Queen Creek, OT, 6-4, 275

He started every game last season at right tackle. He can play inside or outside on the offensive line. He ran 40 yards in 4.9 seconds, laser. Throws the shot and discus in track and field. x

137. Tyler Johnson, Sandra Day O'Connor, OL/DE/LS, 6-3, 260

Verstable, strong, athletic lineman who, after a few games, could garner Division I interest. Has good feet and long reach.

138. Aiden Miller, Brophy Prep, DB, 6-0, 185

He had a strong spring and summer. Son of former NFL first-round draft pick Jamir Miller. He started every game for the Broncos last season.

139. Brandon Byrne, Brophy Prep, DL, 6-3, 225

He is close to an FCS offer. Huge upside. Great work ethic. Able to break blocks and stuff the run game.

140. Diego Morales, American Leadership Queen Creek, RB, 5-7, 190

He transferred from Queen Creek, where he lead the Bulldogs in rushing last year with more than 1,000 yards. Shifty, fast, strong back.

141. Nash Brewer, Show Low, QB/Athlete, 6-0, 175

One of the best all-everything athletes you will find in the small schools. He can play quarterback, running back, receiver and defensive back. Impacts the game in so many ways with his speed.

142. Roan Martinez, Desert Vista, WR/FS, 6-2, 185

Maybe the best-returning athlete at Desert Vista, he's a solid two-way player who leads by example and will rally a team that has a fourth head coach in four years.

143. Mikale Perry, Millennium, OL, 6-5, 310

Has an offer from Southern Utah. Big, mobile, powerful, long reach, quick feet, he'll help set Zues Pindernation free to score touchdowns.

144. Jonathan Williams, Bullhead City Mohave, 6-0, 225, LB/RB

An Army commit, he's hidden at the edge of Arizona. But those who have faced him know what kind of impact he leaves on the field, on both offense and defense.

145. Andrew Zubey, Higley, DB/LS, 6-1, 190

Started at safety on last year's 5A championship team. He is long, fast and has great ball awareness. Very smart player. Good playing man coverage. Not afraid to hit. Also a talented long-snapper.

146. Junior St. Cyr, Mesa, RB, 5-11, 210

Rugged, fast, bullish back who ran for more than 1,000 yards and 18 touchdowns on an 8-4 team as a junior.

147. McKy Peters, Mesa, DB/LB, 6-0, 180

He's undersized for a linebacker but he could play safety in college. He's very fast, athletic and pursues well. Had a big junior season with 80 tackles, seven interceptions and 3.5 sacks.

148. Zayden Neill, Gilbert San Tan Charter, QB, 6-2, 180

Also a baseball player, he can make all the throws and he's good on the run. He has had two consecutive 2,400-yard passing seasons. Has 70 TD passes in his varsity career.

149. Darius Brown, Vista Grande, WR/DB/KR, 6-0, 190

Very fast, explosive athlete who can also play quarterback. He transferred in from Heritage Academy. ASU and UA have shown interest.

150. Chansyn Mapa, Higley, DB, 5-10, 175

Got an offer from Idaho State his sophomore year. Back 100% from ACL surgery that caused him to miss all of his junior season. Performed well in June 7-on-7 tournaments. Named MVP of Just Chilly's Flight Club tournament. His recruiting, he hopes, will ramp up early in his senior season when he'll be able to show that he can lock down receivers at cornerback.
