Report: Rockets’ Josh Christopher negotiating to sign with Adidas

Houston Rockets rookie Joshua Christopher is reportedly negotiating a multiyear endorsement contract with Adidas, according to Nick DePaula of ESPN.

Christopher would join Rockets teammate Jalen Green, Cleveland Cavaliers center Evan Mobley, Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs and Atlanta Hawks guard Sharife Cooper to sign with Adidas this year. He had a strong run with the Rockets in summer league and could now join the brand.

The group is expected to help usher in a new era with the Three Stripes. The apparel company has become strategic in signing new players and has pared down its roster, dropping from 80-plus athletes to 40-50 over the last three seasons.

The addition of Christopher would further add to the strong rookie class signings by Adidas. The five players bring something unique to the table as the company hopes to tap into their potential, both on and off of the court next season and beyond.
