Report: Panthers complete Dwayne Haskins visit without signing

The Carolina Panthers hosted former Washington Football team quarterback Dwayne Haskins for a visit today. According to a report by Jeremy Fowler at ESPN, that visit has been completed and no signing has been made.

Haskins was WFT’s first-round selection in the 2019 draft (No.15 overall) and the third QB taken in the class behind Kyler Murray at No. 1 (Cardinals) and Daniel Jones at No. 6 (Giants). One reason Haskins went so high was his production in college. During his time at Ohio State, Haskins threw 54 touchdowns in just 22 games and had a 174.0 passer rating.

He’s had notably less success in the pros, though. Haskins currently has a 3-10 record as a starter, a career 60.1% completion rate and a 74.4 QBR. He also has more than twice as many turnovers (26) as touchdown passes (12).

The last game Haskins played was against Carolina. He completed half his passes, threw two interceptions had a passer rating of 36.9.
