Report: Browns are not interested in trading for DeAndre Hopkins

The Cleveland Browns have been linked to Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins all offseason because of his relationship with quarterback Deshaun Watson. However, according to NFL Insider Josina Anderson, the Browns are not one of the teams currently trying to trade for the veteran wide receiver.

This shouldn’t surprise many fans because of the limited assets available for trade as well as Hopkins’s salary. The team cannot continue to add massive contracts without getting rid of others and with Hopkins being 30 now it’s not a move that makes sense. The team is still looking to add talent at the position but Hopkins was never an option that made much sense.
