Report: Blue Jays' Reyes to return Thursday

Toronto Blue Jays general manager Alex Anthopoulos told MLB Radio that he will activate shortstop Jose Reyes from the disabled list on Thursday, according to Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News.

Reyes has been out since suffering a sprained left ankle on April 12.

Reyes is scheduled to play a rehab game with Triple-A Buffalo on Monday, then head to Double-A New Hampshire before rejoining the Blue Jays for Thursday's game against the Red Sox.

Reyes was hitting .395 with five stolen bases in 43 plate appearances in his first season with Toronto before going on the disabled list.
