Reggie Bullock heading to San Antonio Spurs in three-team deal

Former North Carolina Tar Heels forward Reggie Bullock has a new home in the NBA.

Just days after the Dallas Mavericks guaranteed the third year on his contract, Bullock has been included in a three-team deal that will send him to the San Antonio Spurs. Boston is sending Grant Williams to the Mavericks while the Celtics will receive multiple second-round picks.

The deal was first reported by Shams Charania on Wednesday night and is expected to be finalized soon.

The 32-year-old Bullock is entering his 11th season in the NBA and is coming off a tough season averaging 7.2 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. He shot 40.9 percent from the field including 38 percent from deep.

He now joins a Spurs team that is in rebuild mode and just took Victor Wembanyama No. 1 overall in the 2023 NBA draft. Adding a veteran wing like Bullock to help with Wembanyama could be a good thing for the for the franchise.

One thing to watch for Bullock is if he will be on the roster for the full season or if he will be a trade candidate, especially if he plays well.
