Who are some recruits to keep an eye on for Penn State football?

As we near the end of the 2022 season, Penn State has landed some talented players throughout the recruiting process.

After Devyn Ford announcing his departure from the program, on top of the lack of depth in their running back room, the Nittany Lions have a talented player coming in, in four-star running back London Montgomery.

One name that was big throughout the recruiting process for Penn State football was Daniel Harris. Harris recently announced his decommitment from Georgia, opening up his recruiting process once again.

We updated you throughout the season on some players that are already committed to Penn State and how they have been doing in their senior seasons.

Now that the season is over and the playoffs are wrapping up, it’s time to take a closer look at some key players Penn State football should keep on their radar.

Here are some players from both 2023 and 2024 Penn State football should keep an eye on.

Daniel Harris - 2023 4-star CB

Daniel Harris recently announced his decommitment from Georgia. Harris garnered a good amount of interest from Penn State. He visited back in June. Harris had a lead expert give Penn State for his Crystal Ball prediction before his commitment to Georgia. An analyst broke him down and did compare him to current Nittany Lions corner Joey Porter Jr. His recruitment is now back open, and he was a big Penn State name from the beginning.

Jayden Bradford - 2024 4-star QB

Jayden Bradford is from IMG Academy and has a Crystal Ball prediction to Penn State. It is still fairly early, but it’s looking like Penn State is leading the way in his recruiting process. Other key Power Five schools competing with them include Louisville, Missouri and NC State. Bradford transferred to IMG Academy this past February. At his previous school in 2021, he completed 64% of his passes and threw for over 2,000 yards and 22 touchdowns. On top of that, Bradford also ran for 367 yards and five touchdowns. Bradford is a key name to keep an eye on in the 2024 class for Penn State football.

Joshua Braun - Transfer OL from Florida

For this last one, we head to the transfer portal, where Penn State extended its first offer of the year to Florida transfer offensive lineman Joshua Braun. Braun was a big SEC recruit in the beginning. He was originally committed to Georgia before signing with Florida. He is from the class of 2019 and entered the transfer portal last week. He is Penn State’s first transfer portal offer of the year, and his experience would be crucial for them. Their last transfer portal offensive lineman was Cornell transfer Hunter Nourzad, who recently announced his return next season to Penn State.
