Apr. 24—Baseball

Hamburg junior Luke Bensinger had a triple and five RBIs in a 13-1 win over Oley Valley; a single and two RBIs in a 5-3 victory over Tulpehocken; two singles, two RBIs and three runs scored in an 11-3 win over Kennard-Dale; and two singles, an RBI and a run scored in a 7-3 victory over Kutztown.

Softball

Fleetwood senior Megan Brattley hit a grand slam in the Tigers' 16-10 win over Oley Valley before going 2-for-4 in a 14-4 victory over Tulpehocken.

Boys lacrosse

Berks Catholic senior Luke Hughes scored nine goals in the Saints' 18-5 win over Twin Valley.

Girls lacrosse

Schuylkill Valley junior Karissa Doerr recorded her 300th career save in the Panthers' 9-5 loss to Conrad Weiser. She also made a career-high 24 saves in the 13-0 loss against Wyomissing.

Boys track

Wyomissing junior Jven Williams broke meet records in the shot put and the discus at the Leonard Stephan Meet at Wilson. Williams threw the shot 60-10.5 and the discus 177-5.

Girls track

Wilson senior Kara Brown won the 100 hurdles in a career-best 16.06 at the Leonard Stephan Meet at Wilson. Brown also finished second in the high jump at 5-1.

Boys volleyball

Exeter sophomore Chase Nugent had 17 kills and 16 digs in a 3-1 win over Lancaster Mennonite and had 12 kills, 10 digs and two aces in a 3-0 victory over Gov. Mifflin.

Boys tennis

Wilson junior Will Hill earned singles wins in a 3-0 quarterfinal win over Berks Catholic and a 3-0 semifinal victory over Wyomissing to help the Bulldogs reach the Berks League championship match.
